Paper Cut

So this year i decided that i would like to focus my practice on paper cut illustration and 3D paper illustrations. I got interested in this medium at the end of my second year and i would like gain further skills to improve my practice. I also want to become a teacher once i have left Uni, so i would like to focus on children's book illustrations and educational books, i was finding it had to initially fit my process and the context into my Cop practical work but after realising i would like to make a game i thought about how i could use paper cut within it as well.

Then i thought about making a paper cut pop up in the middle of the board, so when you unfold it, the middle pops up into a illustration on feminism. Im unsure on what i want that illustration will be yet, as i will need to experiment with what i can make as a pop up and what would be relevant to kids and the subject. But i thought this would be a good way to attract to the children but if it is finished to a good standard it could also appeal to older kids with it being full of craft.

I also thought the game pieces which the players move around the board could be papercut versions of the women, put on holders so they stand up and the players can pick their piece by reading their profile and choosing who they want to be.
